FAQ
Do I need a licence to use these walkie talkies?
No. These handsets use licence-free frequencies for short-range use, so there's no wireless licence to apply for.
What is the range of your walkie talkies?
In the open with a clear line of sight you can expect up to 3-5 km. Inside a hall or on a studio floor it's more like 500 metres to 1 km, depending on walls and floors.
How many sets can I book at once?
There's no small cap. We hold multiple sets of the Tokimo Rio, Turbo and Motorola, so bulk orders for large events and production crews are routine for us.
What is the minimum rental period?
You can book for half a day or a full day for a single event. If a shoot runs over several days, we charge a lower rate per day.
Do you deliver to shoot locations outside the city, like Karjat or Lonavala?
Yes. We handle shoots at outdoor and farmhouse locations around Mumbai, including Karjat and Lonavala. Delivery charges beyond the city are confirmed when you book.
Is a security deposit required?
We take a refundable deposit for the handsets and return it in full when they're back in good condition.
What happens if a handset is lost or damaged?
Repair or replacement for a lost or damaged handset comes out of the security deposit. We don't charge for normal wear.
